These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Direcani Audio Lab website, products, subscriptions, and services. By purchasing, downloading, redeeming coupons, or using any product or service from Direcani Audio Lab, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not proceed with checkout or use our services.
1. Definitions
- “Direcani Audio Lab”, “DAL”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to Direcani Audio Lab.
- “Customer”, “you” refers to any individual or entity using or purchasing from our platform.
- “Beats” / “Instrumentals” refers to digital audio compositions sold or licensed.
- “Plugins / Software” refers to digital audio software, tools, or plugins sold or distributed.
- “License” refers to the usage rights granted upon purchase or redemption.
- “BeatPass Coupon” refers to a prepaid, limited-use discount code sold as a product.
2. Nature of Products & Services
Direcani Audio Lab offers digital products and services, including but not limited to:
- Beat licenses (non-exclusive and exclusive)
- BeatPass coupon products
- Audio plugins and digital software
All products are delivered digitally.
No physical items are shipped.
3. Payments & Pricing
- All payments must be completed before access is granted.
- Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g. Paystack).
- All prices are displayed in NGN unless stated otherwise.
- Direcani Audio Lab does not store full payment card details.
You are responsible for ensuring payment accuracy before completing checkout.
4. Beat Licenses & Usage Rights
a. Non-Exclusive Licenses
Unless explicitly stated:
- Ownership remains with Direcani Audio Lab.
- Beats may be licensed to multiple customers.
- Usage is governed strictly by the license selected at checkout.
b. Exclusive Licenses
When an exclusive license is purchased:
- The beat is removed from future public sale.
- Direcani Audio Lab retains producer credit and authorship.
- Previous non-exclusive licenses remain valid.
- Exclusive purchases are final and non-refundable.
5. BeatPass Coupons (Subscription via Coupons)
Direcani Audio Lab offers BeatPass access via coupon-based products.
BeatPass Coupon Structure:
- Coupons are sold as a digital product.
- Each coupon:
- Costs NGN 25,000
- Allows 5 total redemptions
- Applies only to Basic Lease beats
- Cannot exceed 5 uses under any circumstance
Important Terms:
- Coupons are non-refundable
- Unused redemptions do not roll over
- Coupons cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
- Coupons do not apply to:
- Exclusive licenses
- Studio leases (unless stated)
- Plugins or software
Any attempt to exploit or bypass coupon limitations will result in immediate revocation.
6. Plugins & Software Licenses
All plugins and software sold by Direcani Audio Lab are licensed, not sold.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer
- Redistribute
- Resell
- Share license keys or files
- Remove branding or copyright notices
Each plugin purchase is valid for the purchaser only, unless otherwise stated.
7. Prohibited Uses (All Products)
You may not:
- Claim ownership of beats or plugins
- Resell beats or software as standalone products
- Upload beats to Content ID systems without permission
- Circumvent license, coupon, or usage limits
- Remove required producer credit
Violation may result in:
- License termination
- Access revocation
- Legal enforcement
8. Producer Credit
Unless your license explicitly states otherwise, proper credit is required as:
“Produced by Direcani”
or
“Prod. Direcani Audio Lab”
Failure to credit constitutes a breach of license.
9. Refunds, Returns & Chargebacks
All purchases are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes without contacting support may result in:
- Immediate license termination
- Loss of usage rights
- Permanent platform ban
10. Intellectual Property
All beats, plugins, visuals, branding, logos, and content remain the intellectual property of Direcani Audio Lab unless otherwise stated in writing.
No ownership is transferred through purchase.
11. Limitation of Liability
Direcani Audio Lab shall not be liable for:
- Lost revenue or profits
- Distribution platform disputes
- Project cancellations
- Indirect or consequential damages
Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
12. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access and licenses if:
- These Terms are violated
- Fraud or abuse is suspected
- Coupon systems are manipulated
13. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time.
The version active at the time of purchase applies to that transaction.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
